Just got a digital voice recorder (Panasonic RR-US360) with a USB connection.

Here is /var/log/messages when it is plugged into the USB port ...
====================================================================================
Oct 1 15:54:13 avalon kernel: usb 5-6.3: new full speed USB device using address 46
Oct 1 15:54:13 avalon kernel: ehci_hcd 0000:00:1d.7: qh cdb48200 (#0) state 1

Oct 1 15:54:13 avalon /etc/hotplug/usb.agent[5911]: need a device for this command
====================================================================================

Here is output from "hwscanqueue --usb; hwscan --list" ...
===================================================================================================
kORk.l41shje05e9: (cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown) unknown
Panasonic M66291GP
===================================================================================================

No device is created. I expected to see something like "/dev/sda1"
similar to what heppens when a Compact Flash is plugged in.

Is there anything I can do to access this edvice?

This is on a SuSE 9.1 system.
