Folks:
I have just determined that all four rear ports work fine on USB 2.0. It is just the front panel 2-ports that only detect USB 1.1.
Intel has an Integrator's Note for the MOBO. It says:
"Use only a front panel USB connector that conforms to the USB 2.0 specification
for high-speed USB devices."
I wasn't aware of any differences in the wiring. This case is about 1-1/2 years old
and I was under the impression that it would support USB 2.0. I am off to talk with
the supplier to see what they know but if anyone has any thought on this I would
much appreciate learning more.

All my USB 1.1 devices work. When I plug in a USB 2.0 hub or either of two USB 2.0
memory mini-key solid state drives they are not detected at all. If I plug in a USB 1.1
HUB then these devices are detected and work.
I am using Linux kernel version 2.6.5-7.108 via SUSE 9.1.
The same identical devices failing to be recognized on my machine works fine on a friends machine using the same OS but a different motherboard.
Any suggestions or help much appreciated.
