Hi,

I have a Freecom usb external hard disk.
I am able to access the disk under linux (kernel
2.4.22, Mandrake 9.2) and to write to a fat partition.
I made a backup of 1Go from my laptop to the fat
partiton with rsync without pbs. However, when I try
doing the same on an ext2 partition, the system hangs
up completely after a while. I tried different times
but each times it hangs at a random point.

Any idea why is it so ?

Thanks in advance,

Sylvain.
