Hi Alan, I tried upgrading to 2.6.10-rc1, but it didn't help. Over the next few days, I'm going to try to remove all my modules and only load the usb/joydev ones to check for any conflict.
Would appreciate any help or other tips that you might have. thanks, andrew On Sun, 24 Oct 2004 12:53:16 -0400 (EDT), Alan Stern <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Sat, 23 Oct 2004, Andrew Chuah wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > I have a PSX - USB converter box that used to work under kernel 2.4, > > and I recently upgraded to 2.6, and it doesn't work anymore. > > > > Dmesg says: > > hub 4-0:1.0: USB hub found > > hub 4-0:1.0: 2 ports detected > > usb 4-1: new low speed USB device using address 2 > > usb 4-1: configuration #1 chosen from 2 choices > > usb 4-1: string descriptor 0 read error: -32 > > usb 4-1: string descriptor 0 read error: -32 > > usb 4-1: string descriptor 0 read error: -32 > > drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: ctrl urb status -32 received > > drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: ctrl urb status -32 received > > input: USB HID v1.00 Joystick [0925:8866] on usb-0000:00:1d.3-1 > > The obvious thing is to try moving up to 2.6.9 or even 2.6.10-rc1 (which > has some additional fixes). > > Alan Stern > > ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IT Product Guide on ITManagersJournal Use IT products in your business?
