This is a weird one. I've owned a USB Logitech MX700 mouse for a while and it works flawlessly. Keyboard died so I bought the Corless MX Duo kit, which is a wireless keyboard and another MX700 mouse. The keyboard works great with the usb hid, but the mouse only moves straight up and down when moving it around. Clicking various buttons makes it move from side to side in small increments. This is observed in X as well as in console with gpm.
I've tracked the problem to the new RF receiver. Both mice work correctly with my old mouse-only mx700 receiver and both mice exhibit the same problem with the new mouse-and-keyboard duo receiver. I booted windows just to see what would happen there and the mouse and keyboard work great with the duo receiver, using only the Microsoft HID driver. I didn't install any logitech drivers at all. All of this on my IBM T23 laptop using the built-in USB1.1. Debian sid. Using a linux-2.5 bk pull from last night, which calls itself 2.6.10-rc2. Any hints? Any further data I could dig up for someone? thanks mh -- Martin Hicks || [EMAIL PROTECTED] || PGP/GnuPG: 0x4C7F2BEE ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
