hi all,
I am doing my academic project on embedded
systems. I am having a board having PXA255
processor
and ISP1583 philips usb chip and i am porting
linux2.6.9 into the board. I have written the
peripheral controller driver and usb mass storage
class driver
driver for usb mass storage ie hardisk(ATA).After
inserting the driver modules when i connect my
board
which is having usb chip and harddisk to the
windows
system through usb cable i am able to detect
the usb but the harddisk is not detecting it is
giving
that unknown device. I was having code for philips
ISP1582 usb chip that is on the pci bus.so i modified
it to match ISP1583 and to my board which is not
having pci bus. I have put many printk messages in my
code so i could check the flow. I think that after
IEOSETUP it is giving that pipe is stalled .I am also
attaching with this mail the messages which I got
along with source code and also
the chip details. please help me regarding this.wating
for the reply.
Sorry, I don't know anything about the Philips ISP controller
or the PXA processor. You'll need to use mailing lists,
