Hi, I have bought a card reader, but cannot get it to work at the moment, it is a "07c4:a10b Datafab Systems, Inc.".
While connecting with a 2.6.10 selfcompiled kernel it says: Mar 1 17:35:53 linux kernel: usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcdand address 3 Mar 1 17:35:53 linux kernel: usb 1-1: ep0 maxpacket = 8 Mar 1 17:35:53 linux kernel: usb 1-1: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 Mar 1 17:35:53 linux kernel: usb 1-1: default language 0x0409 Mar 1 17:35:53 linux kernel: usb 1-1: Product: USB CF+MS Mar 1 17:35:53 linux kernel: usb 1-1: Manufacturer: DataFab Systems Inc. I played a little bit with unusual_devs.h, but that did not make it any better. To me it seems like USB is not even noticing to treat this device as a mass-storage device. Maybe because of "Cls=ff(vend.)" ? greetings Felix Mller -- Lassen Sie Ihren Gedanken freien Lauf... z.B. per FreeSMS GMX bietet bis zu 100 FreeSMS/Monat: http://www.gmx.net/de/go/mail ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
