I came across this site when googling around: http://web.media.mit.edu/~warlock/linux_ads.html
under USB Video Notes (ov511), there's a paragraph that mentions something similar to this (I think): <QUOTE> The patch addresses a usb packet delivery issue which was found with the combination of the ohci usb driver and the ov511. The ov511 relies on packets being delivered in the correct order and size, which is not currently the case with the ohci usb driver. </QUOTE> The project is aimed at xscale, but perhaps the issue is present on i686 as well? And if it is, does this mean that the windows driver somehow deals with this? I will see if the old modified driver they use will compile and be useful on my system -- -- Jonatan Åkerlind ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
