Dear supporters of the linux-usb project,

I would like to add a usb device that acts as an ISDN modem to my linux
debian system.

Till now there is no driver (see below) that claims the device, although the
usb system can see it.

I think the problem is that there is no driver for the specific interface,
although cdc-acm is loaded.
Look the next line:
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=02(comm.) Sub=02 Prot=01 Driver=(none)

The output from the command
usbmodules -d /proc/bus/usb/001/002
is
cdc-acm

while for

usbmodules -d /proc/bus/usb/001/001
and
usbmodules -d /proc/bus/usb/001/003
is
usbcore.

I have included the output from `cat /proc/bus/usb/devices` for the
specified device.

Below is the output I should have according to the manual.

(Kernel 2.2.X)

E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl= 10ms

I am running GNU/Debian Linux taken from the testing distribution (shortly
sarge) downloaded a few weeks ago.

Further inforamtion on the device can be found in
http://netmod.intracom.gr/pdf/pdf_engl/usb_linux_22x_en.pdf

I do not know why there are no ttyACMxx devices in /dev....

I use the hotplug system and the folder /.dev has devices named as
ttyACMxx...

Could somebody give me a hint?

Kind regards,

Fafakos Panayiotis
