I had a simillar problem with my ipod; I concluded that some kernel versions have and some don't have the necessary stuff to identify it. I have fixed it by getting the configuration from an ubuntu live cd and used that with my kernel source (was using 2.6.9 + benh's sleep patch 7) I still don't know which option is the one that didn't allowed me to see the ipod as an USB stick. -- Regards, EddyP ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: GoToMeeting - the easiest way to collaborate online with coworkers and clients while avoiding the high cost of travel and communications.
