I have a Fujifilm FinePix A340 camera that is showing up with the vend/prod of 0x4cb/0x14d instead of the more common 0x4cb/0x14b. This I believe may be why the usb-storage driver is not claiming the device.
Initializing USB Mass Storage driver... usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage USB Mass Storage support registered. hub.c: new USB device 00:07.4-1, assigned address 4 usb.c: USB device 4 (vend/prod 0x4cb/0x14d) is not claimed by any active driver. Not sure what I should try next. Perhaps the difference between the 0x14b and 0x14d is so minor I can just fool the usb-storage into thinking it's a 0x14b, but I'm not sure how to do this. Or maybe I should be trying another driver instead of usb-storage.. Suggestions? -- robh ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
