If anyone else is looking for an usb2 enclosuure that works

assuming research and testing noted in
http://www.hollants.com/external_usb_controller_chips.html
re what chipsets work properly in usb2/firewire external enclosure

nspire pc notes, on their website, the chip set(s) used in their
enclosure (click on external enclosures)
http://www.nspirepc.com/

and pixelusa sells these enclosures, for example
http://www.pixelusa.com/catalog/detail.asp?id=AC-NSP-340UE

I've purchased one to try out but have not received/tested so
cannot vouche for it.

FYI I was pointed to the nspire enclosure by a email chain
on the web that was discussing the usb/firewire problem and
flagged this enclosure as one with a better/working chipset.

Also, the top link mentions some good enclosures but I
was not able to locate any of them for puchase in the US.
