Run 'command.exe' on Win98 box to get command line and try
ping 10.0.0.1
to test connection from the other side.
Run
ipconfig
to check IP address of that Win98 box.
It is useless to search for your Linux box in "Network Neighborhood", as
this shows SMB enabled computers only and I'm not sure Samba is running on
your Linux box.
