Hi,
I am running debian sid and I ran into problems with connection of USB
disc. Sometimes it works, but generally not. I tried more things to work
it around (/etc/init/hotplug restart, udev restart ...). As for kernel
log, it seems to me, that sometimes the hardware is detected, but after
some errors and finally it is not mounted.

I compiled last 2.6.11-4 kernel with

  CONFIG_USB_DEBUG=y
  CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG=y

When I tried to mount, I found some messages which I cannot interpret.
