I have looked through your logs.  The ones with ub aren't useful.  The 
ones with usb-storage all show pretty much the same thing: a low-level USB 
error occurs at a random time during a transfer from the device.

This happens on both your desktop system and your laptop, right?  And yet 
on both computers the device works perfectly under Windows.

I'm pretty much stumped.  I can only think of one thing to try (another 
patch), and I'll need to get help from someone else to write it.  If you 
can wait another day or two, the patch should be ready by then.
