I've had the same problems with full speed devices on high speed hubs, does anyone know if this is a hardware, or software problem?

Alan,

Thank you very much for your quick response. I was able to test your
suggestion today and it worked like a charm. I do have another
question, however. Is it possible to configure a hub to run at
full-speed instead of high-speed in software? I can imagine a
theoretical situation where I might like to have both full-speed and
high-speed devices connected to the same system (on different hubs).

Thanks,

Andy

More likely your problem comes from plugging full-speed devices into a hub
running at high speed. Try "rmmod ehci-hcd" so that everything is forced
to run at full speed, and see if that helps.
