Those sizes are close enough that your files are likely to be the same as
mine. In the 2.1.5 version the sizes are very different.

Run the "script" program first. That will create a file named
"typescript" that contains a record of everything that appears on your
screen until you type "exit".
Alternatively, try running
gphoto2 --debug 2>&1 >file

Okay, that all looks right.

I found a similar .src.rpm file, and it contained essentially the same
stuff as I had been looking at before.
Probably the best hope at this stage is to look at the complete debugging
info.
