Sorry, the latest 2.6 kernel doesn't have a scanner.o - so I don't really
know how to test. (2.4.31 is fine without scanner.o as well - but at least
for a couple of weeks I still need scanner.o)
If you'd like me to, I can compile 2.6.latest and 2.6.2 (latest with
scanner.o IIRC) anyway and see if I get any strange errors.
