My systems hotplug events seem to be happening and everything looks ok up to the point where a call to /sbin/hotplug is to be made. I can add a printk to the kernel/kmod.c file, ___call_usermodehelper() function and see that it is going to call 'execve' with "/sbin/hotplug" but /sbin/hotplug never runs. I can invoke it from the shell command line ok but it doesn't seem to execute from kernel space. I was wondering if there was a problem with uclibc and execve? Kernel: 2.6.13
I am trying to get either hotplug or udev running without any success for either. Don Nelke ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
