Creative does not list Linux capability for the PD1110 webcam.
Since it's a well-sold model, I wonder if it works under linux per the
experience of anybody here. Second post.

Motherboard: NF7-S V2
Chipset: NF2 Ultra400+MCP-T
Camera: Creative WebCam PD1110
OS: CentOS 4.2 (yum -y update as of last night)
Kernel: 2.6.14.4 (latest from www.kernel.org as of today).

Verbose USB debug is enabled in the kernel, I have source and can
re-compile whatever is needed, I just need a clue as to what *is*
needed. Following is /var/log/messages, dmesg, and cat
/proc/bus/usb/devices.

/var/log/messages upon un-plug-re-plug of camera:
Dec 26 12:13:13 warthog kernel: usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 2
Dec 26 12:13:15 warthog kernel: ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: wakeup
Dec 26 12:13:16 warthog kernel: usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using
ohci_hcd and address 3

dmesg pertaining to USB:
