MN-NETGOV - Minnesotans for Networked Government
An e-mail discussion forum for those interested in
improving online public access to Minnesota government
information and services. This open, unmoderated
forum includes citizens from all walks of life including those who work with
efforts to put government online.
Initial discussions will include brainstorming ideas
for Governor-elect Ventura's official web site.
Ideas for promoting and improving the strong public
online services from the Minnesota legislature will
be discussed along with ideas for promoting open
citizen interaction among those visiting government
web sites that deal with decision-making. Of long term
interest are efforts to ensure that Minnesota's "Tools
of Democracy" are available online from ALL levels of
government. This includes full access to the state
rulemaking process and local government governance
processes. This constructive forum seeks an "Online
Government - Of, for, and by the people."
All posts should be signed with the author's real name
and posting more than two or three times per day should
be avoided.
