I have a linux box (2.4 kernel, BCM4780 MIPS32 processor, VT6212 usb controller) acting as a NAS on a small LAN. The idea is to use one of the available usb ports as a device port, so that the storage can be connected to an ordinary linux/windows/... client and can be used as a standard 'mass storage' device.
I'm relatively new to the linux usb subsystem, so i started working through the linux-usb.org docs and the usb specifications, but i still do not really have a clue where (and what) to start. Are there any good documents or tutorials, some projects that provide an idea basis for me or anyone of you who can give me hint? Thanks in advance.
