Thanks Greg, I've sent a request for info or source for the Windoze drivers to Navman, hopefully they will release it. I also did a lot of searching last night and found a message that someone had it working under Freebsd so their drivers might be a clue. Also it looks like the GPS has no outbound endpoint, I think it just sends data as soon as it is plugged in with no need for commands to be sent to it. I'm guessing it could be polled like a mouse would be. the output is NMEA standard (ascii text).
