Hi folks, Once in a while Google can't help, so I had to turn to this list for a bit of advice.
I'm looking into using a USB 4-port serial adapter for connecting a bunch of serial devices to a Linux box. I have found a few that claim Linux support, but Google did not reveal any documentation/messages/etc substantiating the claim. These devices claim Linux support: - Keyspan USA-19HS: http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/usa19hs/ - USBGEAR: http://www.usbgear.com/usb-four-port-serial-adapter-rs-232.cfm There are probably others out there, but that's what Google reports on its first page. Do people know if this things work on Linux? Say on RHEL4 kernel 2.6.9. Any other recommendations for devices that are good and known to work reliably with our favorite OS? -- Dimi Paun <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Lattica, Inc. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
