Hello, I am running a 2.6.10 kernel and am working on getting a PLX NET2282PC PCI card working. This is a device controller development board that is supposed to be just like the 2280, but it runs at 66mhz.
The problem is that the driver with my kernel rev does not work with the 2282. I found a patch that updates (I think) the net2282.c/h files in the 2.6.16 kernel, but it fails updating the 2.6.10 version (and there are errors in the patch anyway). Has anyone backported the driver to 2.6.10? Here is the url of the patch that I found: http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-usb-devel@lists.sourceforge.net/msg42348.html Thank you very much for any help!
