That refers to a different error.  It's a minor problem with the card's
configuration information.  It should not affect the behavior when you
plug in a device.

It could be that the errors you get are caused by bad cable terminators.  
Not much you can do about them...

Try plugging in some other high-speed USB devices.  If none of them work, 
you've got a good reason for exchanging the card.
