The problem is that the device is reporting itself as using an Application that the kernel thinks is a input device. See: http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/6396 The Linux USB HID driver has a test (#define'd, I think) that checks the Application for a matching entry. It used to look something like: #define IS_INPUT_APPLICATION(a) ((a >= 0x00010000) && (a <= 0x00010008)) Brad
