Thank you for the reply.  The models I was looking at
included a drivers file along with devices.  gphoto2 can do
the cli thing with the camera and the mouse seems to be
working.  Now if I can only get the gtkam gui to find the
camera, too.  I have a feeling my client would be more
comfortable with a mouse than a cli.  Then I can turn my
attention to the modem on the pcmcia bus.
