Hi,

I noticed a problem while using usb keyboard. I happend with different
distros, but the last one was Ubuntu 6.06.1. The keyboard normally works
with windows and it also worked during and after the installation of Ubuntu.
The problem appears when I don't exit the Ubuntu system the normal way - by
shutdown, but e.g by hardware reset. Then, after BIOS finishes, GRUB shows
menu and I cannot use USB keyboard until I take the power down from the
motherboard. Something like this (if I rememeber well) never happened to me
with windows - I could reset it anytime, during booting, or later, and the
keyboard worked. What could be the cause? It seems like linux kernel
switches USB off somehow, and even after reset or power-off (not taking
power down from tha motherboard) doesn't reinitialize USB. I would
appreciate any answers very much.
