I recently bought a USB-IrDA dongle on ebay. It turned out that it doesn't work with the usb-irda kernel module because it uses a proprietary protocol. Andrzej zaborowski mentioned a month ago that he'd write a driver for this thing (http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-usb-users%40lists.sourceforge.net/msg16655.html) Does anybody know if he was succesfull, or does anybody know whether there is another driver for this thing? lsusb says the following:
