Hi list, I have a brand new Olympus SP510UZ (*very* nice camera BTW) and it sports a mass storage interface.
Unfortunately it is not properly detected/added to the system. To debug this I've compiled usbcore with debugging support (and now have rather long logs). The problem is there with SuSE 10.1, kernel 2.6.16.21-0.25-default, as well as with vanilla 2.6.18 and 2.6.19-rc1. Upon plugging the camera into the computer it shortly appears in the USB tree, then a light on the camera flashes and it is removed from the USB tree. Shall I mail a debug log to this list or is there another place ? I'm willing to test patches to the usbcore (aand such) drivers as well in case it helps with fixing the problem.
