Greetings;

My logs are being littered with kilobytes a day of this message:
Oct 25 07:26:03 coyote kernel: usb 3-2.1: reset low speed USB device using
ohci_hcd and address 3

Since there's 6 usb ports available on the mobo, and theres a usb1.1 front
panel hub installed also, how do I connect the above reset report with the
ID of actual device being reset?

Here's an lsusb:
Bus 003 Device 005: ID 04b8:010f Seiko Epson Corp. Perfection 1250
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 1453:4026
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 045e:008c Microsoft Corp.
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0451:2046 Texas Instruments, Inc. TUSB2046 Hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 04b8:0005 Seiko Epson Corp. Stylus Printer
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

Device 3 on bus 3 is an M$ wireless mouse, and fresh batteries were neither
recorded in the log when they were replaced, nor apparently the problem
since this 2-4 x an hour thing started several months ago and the
batteries have been replaced a few times now.

Doing an lsusb generated this log line when I ran it earlier:
Oct 25 07:33:10 coyote kernel: usb 3-2.1: usbfs: process 13718 (lsusb) did
not claim interface 0 before use

Kernel is presently 2.6.19-rc3, but this has been going on since around the
2.6.13 or before time frame.

FWIW, there is also a wap11 AP running about a foot from the mouse
receiver, but I've turned it off without visibly effecting this. And it
doesn't seem to be hurting anything except makeing the logfiles 10x their
normal size.
