hi all
I'm trying to set up usb networking between ipag running familiar
0.8.4/2.4.19 and my new etch/2.6.18-3. My host's usb port cannot connect
to the ipaq, although the driver's are up. The usb port works fine with
other media, as mouse, usb storage... And the ipaq work fine with usbnet
to a 2.6.8.

lsmod:
usbcore 112676 8
usb_storage,cdc_ether,cdc_subset,usbnet,usbhid,e
            hci_hcd,uhci_hcd
cdc_ether 5888 0
cdc_subset 3744 0
usbnet 15464 2 cdc_ether,cdc_subset

but not any of the right drivers load when connecting to the usb port,
just the uhci_hcd:

Feb 24 09:49:09 elf kernel: usb 4-1: new full speed USB device using
uhci_hcd and address 14
Feb 24 09:49:14 elf kernel: usb 4-1: device descriptor read/all, error 16
Feb 24 09:49:15 elf kernel: usb 4-1: new full speed USB device using
uhci_hcd and address 15
Feb 24 09:49:20 elf kernel: usb 4-1: device descriptor read/all, error 16

Why is it that the cdc_subset or cdc_ether can't be found when I connect
the ipaq.

And the usb0 can't initiate either:
ifup usb0
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
usb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
SIOCSIFNETMASK: No such device
SIOCSIFBRDADDR: No such device
usb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
usb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
Failed to bring up usb0.

someone has some idea on how to solve this?
cheers
