Hello,

I have got a mobile phone and I want to charge the battery
of the phone via the USB port.

Now when I tried that, it took ages to charge the battery and
even after 12 Hours it still wasn't fully charged.

I have heard that maybe the problem is, that the Hub of the PC must
be configured to actuall deliver the 500mA max current which
is allowed by the USB spec.

Has someone a hint how this can be configured in linux ?
(Is there a way to configure this via /proc or sysfs ?)

with best regards
  Ingo
