Can anyone point me at any tutorial material that might help me understand USB HID report descriptors, reports, and features, please? I've got the USB HID standard and the HID Usage Tables standard, but I don't find them clear enough to understand. I have also Googled, but I notice that all the hits refer people either directly or indirectly to the usb.org site. It's as if no-one else understands them either.
I'm not a beginner at this game; I have written several device drivers, and embedded code for two USB devices. I just don't find the USB HID standards clear enough on their own.
