While you or I may be able to pull off those sorts of things, we must make it
work for a regular user whom we must necessarily assume lacks system
expoertise. In addition, due to the cost of these braille devices (several
thousands of dollars each), I don't actually have that particular model here so
all of the testing I need done must be doable by the users who own them.
