Hello I am using OMAP board with the external ISP1301 transceiver connected to it. I have a mini AB plug on the board. I want to configure the board as host and I have mini B plug to standard cable available with me. As of now,the port is not getting powered up itself.
Kindly tell me whether the Vbus switching mechanism happens with in the transceiver by reading the ID pin of mini A/mini B plug ?or Is it software configurable within the transceiver ? Can we drive the vbus by setting certain registers in the transceiver ? Kindly let me know the main purpose of the OTG transceiver(other than setting interrupts) ? I want to configure my OTG transceiver to function as a host only ? Kindly let me know what all needs to be done for the same ?
