Hello,

I am looking for a way to turn off power to a usb port or hub. For
example, to control a usb-powered light or fan. I am trying to find a
software solution not involving discrete components or physical
interaction. I found this site:
http://www.gniibe.org/ac-power-by-usb/ac-power-control.html which makes
me think it is possible. I have a usb hub that supports per-port power
switching and another that only supports ganged power switching. Any
help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

- Jason
