Anyone interested in talking to them about this? It's a portable Diamond-Rio
like procuct with a USB interface to a PC that can rip music CDs and store up to
80 CDs' worth of MP3s. Sounds cool, but only Windows 98 supported so far...

(I did not offer to provide Linux development support- I'm not a developer. I
asked if they were willing to work with Linux developers)

Dear Mr. Newman,
...
We are told by the Compaq designers that Linux efforts have been completed and
are only waiting for their Legal
Department to OK. So: you should soon be able to use Linux with the PJB 100.
I'm sure everyone involved
appreciates your offer to provide Linux development support; maybe in the
future additional work will be needed and
this offer could be re-opened at that time.

Please feel free to call us if you have further issues to discuss. I'll move
your address to our "Linux Requestors"
file.

Sincerely,

>
