Hi, I'm not aware of any such support either, but I agree that audio class makes sense for it. But first I would be asking something like "is there any support for DSL modems?". I'm pretty sure that the answer is no, but I wouldn't mind be pleasantly surprised about this. Did you find some listed in the supported hardware list? (I didn't.) ~Randy -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Sunday, April 09, 2000 8:30 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [linux-usb] Q: Any current support for voice features of USB modem? I'm considering getting a USB modem once I get a DSL connection, both for backup but mostly for faxing and voice mail. I don't recall seeing anything pertinent on the mailing list, and I can't seem to find anything listed in the "supported hardware" list. Is there any known support for voice functions of modem? Not knowing the spec, I'd suspect such functions would be audio class, rather than communication class. -- Beiad Ian Q.
