Yes it does.

This might be more of an issue though, not because of lack of support from the
OS, but because 10 cameras will generate a lot of data and there probably isn't
enough bandwidth to cope with them (assuming they are going to be streaming
data).
The camera I have (Creative WebCam III) seems to manage to generate around 1
mega-byte per second when it's running - that's almost all of the isochronous
bandwidth.
Of course, you could arrange to grab single images from each camera
periodically, and that should work just fine, but I thought I ought to mention
the bandwidth issue before you go too far in your planning!
