No. The current usbdevfs approach guarantees that multiple endpoints
accessed through the same file descriptor belong to the same device.
Your approach would need some way to distinguish every device.
We had that discussion half a year ago and concluded that it wasn't
generally possible. Think cheap devices with no serial number.

So with your approach there is still the possibility (though small)
that you end up talking to different devices without noticing it.
