You can tell the driver what kind of tuner you have. 5 is default and it
means:
TUNER_PHILIPS_PAL
Look at tuner.h to find other values for other tuner.

What kind of hardware do you have? Is it the Hauppauge WinTV without fm

These stuff came from some printk's we left in the code to see what
happends.
The NAKs are correct: The tuner module tests all known i2c addresses for
tuner, when it
is attached to the i2c bus of the nt1003 after i2c-algo-usb is loaded.
