        I was just having this discussion.  SanDisk makes a smartmedia reader 
(SDDR-09 I think) that is _not_ supported under linux yet.  Matt Dharm is 
still talking to the chip manufacturer to see if they will open it up, but as 
of now, no go.  Vojtech Pavlik said he uses the Hagiwara Sys-Com Flashgate 
Smartmedia reader under linux.  Also, as far as I know the PCMCIA/Floppy 
readers should work fine. -- Dan
