I just plugged Intel ProShare camera into usb-uhci:

[root@usb dmitri]# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
[...]
I: If#= 2 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hid

D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=04c8 ProdID=0720 Rev= 1.01

With uhci.o:

[root@usb dmitri]# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

S: Product=USB OHCI Root Hub

I have both OHCI and UHCI here. Philips speakers are shown above the
camera, OHCI hub below. I have no USB bus analyzer.

However, Intel ProShare camera is known to be quirky (for example, it does
not work with OHCI, -officially-). I do not know if this behavior
signifies anything...

Unrelated to enumeration problem: I already captured logs of USB traffic
between this camera (Intel ProShare) and Win98. If anyone has time to work
on a driver I can email them; otherwise it will stay on backburner for
some more time...

Thanks,
Dmitri
