Hello-
I am a non-developer using linux-2.4.0-test1-ac21-riel on an SMP system (with
no subsequent patches applied). I'm using the usb-uhci driver with intel chipset.
Everything has worked well so far (USB visor hotsyncs work great!) except for audio.
I am using a Sonicport DAC with the Phillips chipset. The first time you play
something it works great. However, upon subsequent attempts to open the audio device
it appeared as if it hadn't been released. I dug thru /var/log/messages (okay...just
tailed the latest stuff) and found this:
Jun 20 13:02:08 debian kernel: usbaudio: no mixer controls found for Terminal 7
Jun 20 13:08:40 debian kernel: NMI Watchdog detected LOCKUP on CPU0, registers:
Jun 20 13:08:40 debian kernel: CPU: 0
Which is unusual (the last two lines). If you need any more information email me or
the list...I'll be lurking

                -Robin K
