Is this the actual list or the majordomo?
Well.
I supose this is a common question, but here is it once again:
I have a cd-writer HP 8200e+, connected via USB.
How do I get it to work, at least as a CDROM?
I already activated the USB modules (I think they are uhci.o) with this
result:
usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs
usb.c: registered new driver hub
usb-uhci.c: $Revision: 1.232 $ time 15:09:33 Aug 8 2000
usb-uhci.c: High bandwidth mode enabled
usb-uhci.c: Intel USB controller: setting latency timer to 0
usb-uhci.c: USB UHCI at I/O 0xd000, IRQ 5
usb-uhci.c: Detected 2 ports
usb.c: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
usb.c: USB new device connect, assigned device number 1
hub.c: USB hub found
hub.c: 2 ports detected
and loaded usb-storage, but with this console message:
usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage
usb-storage: Searching unusual device list for (0x3f0, 0x207, 0x1)...
usb-storage: -- did not find a matching device
USB Mass Storage support registered.
TIA
