Hi! Is there any chance that there will be force feedback support for the Saitek Cyborg Evo Force joystick?
I tested the device with kernel versions 2.6.18 and 2.6.22 (both debian etch kernels) and ff-utils. I contacted Saitek tech support asking if it's USB HID PID compliant and I got the following answer: "Whilst linux will detect the joystick it will not have force feedback withour a driver. The stick is a directX device and therefore our drivers exist solely for windows platforms." I guess this means it's not PID compliant. There are some attached files (with kernel version 2.6.18): /var/log/messages output, lsusb output and ff-utils/evtest output. Thank you. Robert Raksi
