This is a rebase & respin of the complete two stage series on top of current linus/greg/felipe trees.
Patch #1 is new, it adds a note about compatibility issues around ccg in staging. The first few patches still touch ccg because I had to change central gadget code and there was no other sane way. Patch #7 is new and provides a copy of "everything" for ccg so I can keep working and ignore ccg for good. Patch #8 should be the last one touching ccg.
