Hi, Patch #1 adds the idea of function instances #2 and #3 convert acm gadget over #4 adds the configfs hooks to it.
Felipe you did not like the way I passed the options earlier. Now with this thingy I can distinguish between a function which is shared across multiple configs and those which are unique. As shown in #4 I can offload the whole configuration into the function without any knowledge in configufs code.
